Who We Are

Cedar Transmission & Automotive is owned and operated by business partners, Joe Mower and Bill Overson. Bill is a former marine who has spent the bulk of his professional civilian career in the aftermarket automotive industry. Bill has served in many roles from delivery driver to counter person, assistant manager, store manager and district manager and truly understands how business should be done from top to bottom and more importantly, how customers should be treated. He cares about each and every customer and cares about solving the customers problem the right way, the first time.

Joe has a vast understanding of the automotive repair industry that spans nearly 30 years. He began his career in 1995 as a dealership apprentice technician for front wheel drive automatic transmissions before moving into the aftermarket repair industry where he specialized in automatic/manual transmission repair, transfer case, differential and electrical diagnostics. Joe’s diagnostic and repair experience and knowledge are second to none and he has a passion for providing the most accurate and quality repairs possible for our valued customers.

Along with a dedicated rebuild facility and state of the art tooling, We retain a crew of highly trained diagnosticians experienced in all areas of auto repair.
